Columbia River Maritime Museum


As a member, you play a vital role in supporting the Museum’s mission to collect and preserve the maritime history of the Pacific Northwest. Your membership is also critical to the support of educational programs like our “Museum in Schools,” which reaches more than 10,000 school children each year.

Membership in the Columbia River Maritime Museum provides many benefits:

  • Free admission to the Museum and the Lightship Columbia
  • Advance notice of upcoming programs, events and exhibits
  • Free admission to special exhibitions, lectures and select classes
  • Invitations to members-only events, including musical performances, exhibition previews and the Annual Member Dinner
  • Free subscription to the Museum magazine, The Quarterdeck, and the Museum’s e-news publications
  • A 10% discount at the Museum Store, and 20% discount on special Member Days

    Individual membership
  • Crew ($65)
    Dual/family membership for two adults and children or grandchildren under age 18
  • Helmsman ($85)
    All basic membership privileges plus four guest passes to share with friends
  • Boatswain ($125)
    All basic membership privileges plus eight guest passes and free admission to more than 40 maritime museums
  • Pilot ($250)
    All of the benefits listed above, plus a certificate suitable for framing and a Museum lapel pin
  • Navigator ($500)
    All of the above, plus a private guided tour of the Museum
  • Captain ($1,000)
    All of the above, plus a behind-the-scenes tour for two with the Museum Director
  • Commodore ($2,500)
    All of the above, plus a behind-the-scenes tour and lunch for four with the Museum Director
  • Admiral ($5,000)
