Lum's Auto Center Gives a Gift
to the Columbia River Maritime Museum
Released November 6, 2012
The Columbia River Maritime Museum received a gift of $5,000 from Lum's Auto Center at CRMM's Annual Member Meeting, November 2, 2012. This gift will go toward the Astoria Railroad Depot Restoration Project helping us reach our fundraising goal of $2.6 million. The Depot will house classes, workshops, and demonstrations of traditional maritime skills and trades relevant to the maritime culture of the Columbia River and the waters of the North Pacific.
Restoration is expected to be completed by late fall 2012 with a Community Dedication of the Barbey Maritime Center for Research and Industry, January 25, 2013.
Individuals and organziations who would like to give to the Depot Project may do so by purchasing a personalized brick available in two sizes, 4"x8" and 8"x8". Bricks will be permanently displayed in the Breezeway of the Depot.
For information on purchasing a brick, contact the Columbia River Maritime Museum, 503.325.2323.
